The embodiment of the invention provides a signal noise reduction method and device; the method comprises the following steps: using discrete partial discharge signals to build a first Hankel matrix;carrying out singular value decomposition and rank annihilation for the first Hankel matrix so as to obtain a first rank annihilation matrix; carrying out singular spectrum analysis for the first rankannihilation matrix so as to obtain a second Hankel matrix; using a deck algorithm to iterate the second Hankel matrix so as to realize dimension reduction, thus obtaining a target rank annihilationmatrix after a preset iteration number; using a first column element and a last column element of the target rank annihilation matrix to form a low rank filtered signal, thus obtaining a noise reduction partial discharge signal.
