Abstract

The invention relates to a releasing pup joint for a horizontal well conveying tractor perforation tool. The releasing pup joint consists of an upper joint assembly and a lower joint assembly, whereinan upper joint of the upper joint assembly is screwed with an outer pipe; a connection sleeve located in the outer pipe is connected with the upper joint through guide keys; locking slots are formedin the connection sleeve; the lower joint assembly is provided with locking claws for locking the locking slots of the upper joint assembly; the locking claws are fixed on a lower joint through screwpins; and the locking claws are uniformly distributed between a salvaging head and the lower joint. During construction of horizontal well perforation, the releasing pup joint is mounted on a rotary pup joint of the horizontal well conveying tractor perforation tool; when the tractor perforation tool is locked in a well, a releasing instruction is sent from the ground; the locking claws are separated from the locking slots, and the upper joint assembly slides off from the lower joint assembly and is lifted out of a wellhead through a cable; and the lower joint assembly is retained on the tractor perforation tool. An assorted salvaging tool is connected with the salvaging head of the lower joint assembly to take the tractor perforation tool out of the wellhead.
