Abstract

The invention discloses a safety valve and a water heater. The safety valve comprises a valve body, a valve core device, a leakage device and a decompressor. The valve body is provided with a liquid inlet cavity, a liquid outlet cavity and a leakage cavity. The liquid inlet cavity communicates with the liquid outlet cavity. The liquid outlet cavity communicates with the leakage cavity. The outer surface, corresponding to the liquid inlet cavity, of the valve body is provided with a connecting part used for being connected with a liquid inlet pipe. The valve core device is arranged in the liquid outlet cavity and used for reducing pressure of liquid flowing into the liquid outlet cavity from the liquid inlet cavity. The leakage device is arranged in the leakage cavity, and liquid with the pressure higher than set pressure in the liquid outlet cavity flows into the leakage cavity through the leakage device. The decompressor is arranged in the liquid inlet cavity and is in interference fit with the inner wall of the liquid inlet cavity. The decompressor is used for reducing pressure of liquid flowing into the liquid inlet cavity from the liquid inlet pipe. The structure of the safetyvalve is improved, and decompression capacity and adaptability of the safety valve are improved.
