Abstract
The invention relates to a novel Sepic AC-AC chopping voltage regulation circuit comprising an AC power supply, a load, two inductors, two capacitors, two bidirectional switches S1 and S2 and a control circuit. Two AC input terminals (2 and 1) and two AC output terminals (3 and 1) are arranged. The S1 includes a triode and a diode and the S2 is formed by two thyristors. Trigger electrodes of the two thyristors within positive and negative half cycles of the power supply have direct-current voltages; and the output lifting AC voltages can be adjusted by adjusting the break-make ratio of the bidirectional switch S1. Compared with the existing Sepic AC-AC chopping voltage regulation circuit, the novel Sepic AC-AC chopping voltage regulation circuit has advantages of high reliability and low cost. The novel Sepic AC-AC chopping voltage regulation circuit is named as a Gong's-Sepic AC-AC boosting chopping voltage regulation circuit for distinguishing. The novel circuit is expected to becomea circuit represented on the textbook of the power electronics technology to witness the contribution of the Chinese people's inventions to the world's AC-AC chopping control science. The novel SepicAC-AC chopping voltage regulation circuit is used for designing products like a compensation type AC voltage-stabilizing power supply.
