Abstract

The invention relates to a wind turbine (1) comprising a locking system and a method thereof. The wind turbine comprises a rotor whose hub (4) is rotatably connected by bearings (16, 17) to a main frame (7) in the nacelle. The locking system comprises a plurality of locking parts (11), which are inserted into the gap formed between the hub (4) and the main frame (7). The locking part (11) comprises locking elements arranged to engage with complementary locking elements on the main frame (7) and the hub (4). A gap is located between the main frame (7) and the outside of the hub (4) and allows insertion of the locking part (11) from the outside of the main frame (7). A support area is formed on the locking element (11), which prevents the locking part (11) from tilting.
