Abstract

The invention relates to a brazed article, comprising a first component (4) and a second component (6) and a brazed joint therebetween to secure the two components (4, 6) together by means of a brazing filler material distributed between a first joining area formed by a surface portion of the first component (4) and second joining area formed by a surface portion of the second component (6), wherein one or both of the joining areas have formed therein at least one elongate slot (14) adapted to contain a brazing material.
