Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a monitoring method and system, a computer readable medium and an electronic device. The monitoring method is applied to a monitor server, and the monitor server comprises a heartbeat detection device. The method comprises steps of: receiving current host information sent by a host monitored by the monitor server; acquiring current server information of the monitor server; analyzing the current host information and the current server information, and acquiring current security warning information; and if the heartbeat detection device determines that the monitor server is in a normal running state, packaging and sending the current heartbeat data and current security warning information collected by the heartbeat detection device. In the method, the heartbeat detection device arranged in the monitor server can detect a running state of the monitor server, further, the monitor server can monitor security conditions of the host and the monitor server.
