Abstract

The breakwater model comprises a bottom supporting structure, a stress slope hinged to one end of the bottom structure, a top plate arranged at the other end of the stress slope, and a lead screw, one end of the lead screw is hinged to the stress slope, the other end of the lead screw is fixed to the bottom supporting structure, a through hole is formed in the top plate, and the lead screw penetrates through the through hole. During an experiment, the slope surface can be conveniently subjected to continuous adjustment of any angle from 20 degrees to 90 degrees through the lead screw so as to facilitate researching on the influence of angle change on the wave pressure distribution law, the wave pressure maximum value and the action position of the wave pressure maximum value, meanwhile, the climbing and crushing effects of waves on slopes of different angles can beobserved, and a foundation is provided for breakwater design.
