Abstract

The invention relates to an optimization method of a coaxial free-form surface optical system. On the basis of a vector aberration theory model, by utilization of an aberration coupling mechanism of the previous M items of a Zernike free-form surface, an optimization model of a Zernike free-form surface polynomial coefficient and an aspheric coefficient on the aberration of the coaxial free-form surface optical system is established; the Zernike free-form surface polynomial coefficient and the aspheric coefficient are solved by utilization of a gradient descent method; and thus, the whole image quality of the optical system is improved. By means of the novel method, optimization of the optical system is completed from the perspective of the vector aberration theory; and, the problems of misconvergence, low optimization efficiency and the like due to too many free-form surface optimization variables can be effectively solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of optical free-form surface design in the field of optics, in particular to a method for optimizing a free-form surface optical system based on vector aberration theory. Background technique [0002] With the gradual development of optical imaging systems towards miniaturization and light weight, optical free-form surfaces have gradually become an important part of current optical imaging systems. Compared with spherical surfaces and quadratic surfaces, optical freeform surfaces expand the design freedom of imaging systems and improve the overall aberration balance capability of the system, playing an increasingly important role in optical imaging systems. At the same time, with the rapid development of ultra-precision machining technology and optical surface shape detection technology, optical free-form surfaces have been applied in imaging systems in different fields. [0003] Since there are far more variables av...
