[0040] Disclosed herein are embodiments of seismic clamps for supporting nonstructural components to rigid poles within a building. For example, the seismic clamp may be suitably configured for use in a rocking brace, or restraint, or other non-structural seismic support system. Accordingly, the described embodiments are not limited to seismic sway braces or restraints. In the embodiment shown, each anti-vibration clamp is suitably configured for use with at least one rigid rod RR having a circular cross-sectional shape, but in other embodiments, the anti-vibration clamps may be configured for use with rigid rods having other shapes rod.
