The method comprises the following steps: measuring the quantityof activated carbon in a buffer bin of an adsorption unit in real time through a sensor arranged at the buffer bin; obtaining the initial material quantity L1 of the buffer bin at the initial measurement time t1 and the final material quantity L2 of the buffer bin corresponding to the final measurement time t2 through controlling the starting and closing states of the to-be-measured roller type feeder, and directly calculating the discharge flow of the corresponding to-be-measured roller feeder according to the preset measurement interval time T2, thereby achieving online accurate measurement. Therefore, the method provided by the embodiment of the invention makes the most of the structural characteristics of the adsorption unit of the activated carbon flue gas purification system, and achieves the combination of material flow control and material weight detection through the sensor for weighing arranged at the buffer bin and further achieves the online accurate measurement of the discharge flow of the roller feeder.
