On the basis of the traditional symmetric compression MUSIC algorithm principle, the algorithm jointly processes sound pressure and vibration velocity in the signal processing procedure; and the specific method comprises the following steps: synthesizing two vibration velocities collected by a vectorhydrophone, and then performing cross-correlation processing with the sound pressure information, thereby obtaining a covariance matrix; reducing the three-dimensional guidance vector to one dimension, wherein the processing plays the dimension reduction effect, so that the processing can be applied to the vector hydrophone; constructing an energy spectrum function by combining the energy thoughtand according to the feature that the energy produces the wave crest at a sound source location, and optimizing the symmetric compression MUSIC by using the energy spectrum. Through the algorithm disclosed by the invention, on the one hand, the calculated quantity of the covariance matrix decomposition can be reduced, the isotropy noise is removed, and the pressure of hardware for the data storage, the data computation and transmission can be effectively relieved; and on the other hand, the optimization processing is performed by utilizing the energy spectrum, thereby reaching effects of improving the robustness and improving the device accuracy.
