Abstract

The application provides an automotive anti-rear-end-collision early-warning method. A microwave radar sensor monitors a distance of a suspicious object arranged at the rear end of a vehicle; when thedistance of the suspicious object is monitored to be less than a preset first threshold, the following steps is performed: the microwave radar sensor obtains the distance of the suspicious object inreal time to obtain a distance sequence; the microwave radar sensor obtains the distance of the suspicious object in real time to obtain a first speed sequence; the speed of the vehicle is obtained inreal time to obtain a second speed sequence; steering data of the vehicle are obtained in real time to obtain a steering data sequence; according to the distance sequence, the first speed sequence, the second speed sequence, and the steering data sequence, a rear-end collision probability of the suspicious object is determined; and if the rear-end collision probability is greater than a second threshold, alarming is carried out.
