The recording head is provided with a main magnetic pole (60) with width of 40-55nm in a magnetic path width direction, a write shielding member (62) which faces the main magnetic pole in a manner of being separated by a write gap (WG) of 16-18.5nm, and a magnetic flux control layer (80) which is arranged between the main magnetic pole and the write shielding manner in the write gap.
