Abstract

The invention provides a multi-beam sonar array comprising an electronic compartment housing, a transducer array, a sonar housing, an acoustic transmission cover and an O-shaped sealing ring. The electronic compartment is used for placing electronic equipment and is connected with the sonar housing in a sealing manner. The transducer is a transceiving integrated piezoelectric ceramic acoustic unitand is installed at the sonar housing. The sonar housing has a structure formed by combination of a cylindrical section shell and a hemispherical shell; and the cylindrical segment shell is divided into several layers and each layer contains a plurality of elements. Electronic wave beam scanning is performed on the horizontal plane to realize detection of a small target in a 360-degree horizontaldirection within a certain vertical included angle range. According to the invention, because of the high-resolution image sonar with the small target as a detection object, detection of the small target in a 360-degree horizontal direction within a certain vertical included angle range is realized.
