Abstract

The invention provides an electrophoretic display and a driving method thereof. The electrophoretic display comprises a display panel and a driving circuit. The display panel comprises an electrophoresis unit and a driving substrate. The driving method comprises the following steps: providing a reset signal to a driving substrate so as to reset at least one of first electrophoresis particles and second electrophoresis particles in an electrophoresis unit; and providing a driving signal to the driving substrate to drive the third electrophoresis particles in the electrophoresis unit. In a firstdriving period of the driving signal, the driving signal comprises a plurality of first driving pulses and a plurality of second driving pulses which are arranged in a staggered manner. In a second driving period of the driving signal, the driving signal includes a plurality of third driving pulses. The electrophoretic display and the driving method thereof can provide good display quality.
