Abstract

The invention discloses a new application of sea-buckthorn fruit pulp, namely, an application of the sea-buckthorn fruit pulp in the preparation of drugs for treating PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)and an application of the sea-buckthorn fruit pulp in the preparation of health-care food for treating PCOS. The result of an experiment shows the sea-buckthorn fruit pulp has a comprehensive therapeutic effect on PCOS. The sea-buckthorn fruit pulp can not only improve polycystic ovarian lesions in mice with PCOS, but also correct the estrous cycle disturbance of PCOS, maintain AMH level, and restore normal ovarian reserve. In endocrine metabolism, the sea-buckthorn fruit pulp can effectively lower blood sugar, reduce obesity and the like. The application provides scientific evidence for sea-buckthorn fruit pulp directly used in the treatment of PCOS.
