Abstract

The invention discloses a method for evaluating body temperature of sow at a perinatal period and a system thereof. The method includes: obtaining the back surface temperature of the sow, the surface temperature of the eye, the surface temperature of the ear, the temperature of the vulva surface, and the surface temperature of the breast, and performing substitute of the back surface temperature, the eye surface temperature, the ear surface temperature, the vulvar surface temperature, and the breast surface temperature into an evaluation mathematical model to obtain the sow's body temperature. By measuring the surface temperature of each part of the sow, a temperature value is obtained by the above measurement, and a body temperature value of the sow is obtained through the evaluating the evaluation mathematical model. The system includes a temperature acquisition device and a body temperature calculation device. Through a non-invasive measurement method, the sow's stress response cannot be caused under the premise of correctly reflecting the sow body temperature. The system is conducive to pig farming operations.
