Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for determining shale organic matter content based on a rock physics model, and the method comprises the following steps of setting that a shale comprises askeleton, an organic matter containing layered organic matters, a clay containing layered clay, and an aqueous pore; acquiring the content, density and velocity of each component of a shale rock sample, adjusting the layered organic matters and layered clay content based on a shale rock physics model, inverting the layered organic matters and layered clay content of the shale rock sample, and theequivalent elastic modulus of the skeleton, organic matters, clay and the entire shale rock when the velocity of the shale rock physics model is close to the measured velocity, obtaining a density curve and an acoustic time difference curve of the shale rock in the actual formation, adjusting the organic matter content, clay content and porosity based on the shale rock physics model, and invertingthe shale organic matter content when the velocity of the shale rock physics model is close to the measured velocity.
