Abstract

The invention discloses a battery protection circuit. The battery protection circuit comprises: a control circuit; a switch combination comprising a charge switch and a discharge switch; a voltage analog-digital converter configured to sample a battery cell voltage and convert the sampled battery cell voltage into a digital signal DV of the voltage; a current analog-to-digital converter configuredto sample a battery cell current to obtain a current sampling voltage, and convert the sampled current sampling voltage into a digital signal DI of the current; and a microprocessor used for obtaining a first voltage difference value [delta]V1 by subtracting the digital signals DV of two adjacent voltages, obtaining a second voltage difference value [delta]V2 by multiplying the digital signal DIof the current by a preset battery cell internal resistance RI, obtaining a third voltage difference value [delta]V3 by subtracting the first voltage difference value from the second voltage difference value (namely [delta]V1-[delta]V2) and determining whether it is required to control that the charging switch and the discharging switch are in open-circuit states or not through the control circuitbased on the third voltage difference value [delta]V3.
