Abstract

The invention relates to a static calibration method for a hitch force of a railway vehicle, and relates to hitch force measurement. The method comprises the following steps that 1) the position of ameasurement point on a hitch is determined; 2) a measuring member is arranged at the measurement point and connected to a measurement circuit; and 3) a hitch pulling / pressing force is acted on the hitch, a voltage value output by the measurement circuit under effect of the hitch pulling / pressing force is read, the corresponding relation namely a calibration coefficient, between the magnitude of the hitch pulling / pressing force and that of the voltage value is obtained. The static calibration method is used to calibrate the hitch force once statically before hitch force measurement of the selected hitch in the same environment, and the correspondence between the hitch pulling / pressing force acted on the hitch and the output voltage in the environment is obtained. Thus, in the subsequent actual measurement process of the hitch force, the hitch pulling / pressing force born by the hitch is calculated based on the calibration coefficient and the voltage value read in actual measurement.
