The invention discloses a string vibration experiment device capable of accurately controlling tension borne by a string. The device comprises a vibration source, a string, a reversing wheel, a weight, a scale and a supporting plane. The vibration source is arranged on the supporting plane; the reversing wheel is arranged on the side edge of one end, away from the vibration source, of the supporting plane; and one end of the string is connected with the vibration source and the other end of the string is connected with the weight through the reversing wheel. The weight includes a drip cup, liquid, a flow speed regulator, a guide pipe and a container. The scale arranged on the supporting plane is perpendicular to the string and can move in the direction parallel to the string. According tothe string vibration experiment device, the overall mass of a container on the string and liquid in the container is accurately controlled, the tension on the string can be controlled accurately, andthe tension on the string in a state of waveform stability can be measured accurately. The most stable state with the maximum amplitude of the standing wave can be determined accurately; and the wavecrest and node positions are accurately determined.
