Embodiment Construction

[0024] As used herein, a module or estimator may refer to software, hardware, or both. If a module is implemented as software, it may be stored in data storage 24 for processing by data processor 20 . To be adapted, configured or arranged to mean that the module, estimator or other means is capable of performing the functions or supporting features described in the specification. For example, being adapted, configured or arranged may include a module programmed with software instructions stored in data storage device 24 for processing by data processor 20 to perform certain functions set forth herein.

[0025] Unless expressly stated otherwise, approximately or approximately shall mean a tolerance of plus or minus 25% on any value, quantity or value.

[0026] A position determining receiver or satellite receiver (12, 30), such as a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver, is capable of receiving carrier phase measurements in the number or fraction of periods of a r...

Abstract

In one embodiment during a warm-start mode, an estimator estimates a satellite correction signal based on satellite orbit data, satellite clock data, and satellite bias correction data derived from stored received raw satellite signal measurements. A data source selector seamlessly switches a measurement data source from the stored received raw satellite signal measurements to live, real-time rawsatellite signal measurements if or when a respective measurement time tag of a last-processed one of the stored received satellite signal measurements approaches or reaches the current time.

Description

[0001] This application is a continuation-in-part of Patent Application No. 15 / 257,092, entitled "Accurate Low-Latency GNSS Satellite Clock Estimation," filed September 6, 2016, which is incorporated herein by reference; .15 / 257,092, including the drawings, claims priority and benefit as of the filing date of the U.S. Provisional Application filed May 24, 2008 under 35 U.S.C § 119(e) No. 62 / 675,872, which provisional application is incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0002] The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for providing satellite correction signals using a warm start. Background technique [0003] In some prior art, a service provider provides correction signals to end users of satellite navigation receivers via wireless signals, such as satellite radio signals on the L-band of satellites. In a GNSS cluster, each satellite clock can have a satellite clock bias or clock error that can be measured with reference to the GNSS system clock ti...
