Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a scheduling method and device based on the code rate, and electronic equipment, and belong to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: obtaining a request for audio and video content sent by a client, the request comprising an identifier of the audio and video content; obtaining a code rate of audio and video contents corresponding to the request, wherein the code rate indicates data bits transmitted in unit time when the audio and video contents are transmitted; performing quality evaluation on the network node to obtain a quality metric of the network node; and selecting an optimal network node serving the client according to the code rate of the audio and video content and the quality measurement of the network node. Through theprocessing scheme disclosed by the invention, reasonable nodes are effectively scheduled before data transmission, i.e., nodes with high resource requirements are scheduled to high-quality resource nodes and nodes with secondary high resource requirements are scheduled to nodes with secondary high resource requirements, so that resources are reasonably distributed from the aspect of scheduling, the resources are saved, and the quality is hardly reduced.
