Abstract

An aspect of the present invention relates to a method for performing a service request procedure of an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system, and the methodmay comprise the steps of: receiving, from a terminal, a service request message including a packet data unit (PDU) session identifier (ID) of a PDU session which the terminal desires to activate; transmitting a first message including the PDU session ID to a session management function (SMF); when establishment of the PDU session is rejected by the SMF, receiving a second message including a rejection cause for the establishment of the PDU session, as a response to the first message; and transmitting, to the terminal, a service response message including the rejection cause and the ID of thePDU session having been rejected due to the rejection cause.
