Abstract

The invention discloses an angle of arrival estimation method and apparatus. According to the method, a first device acquires first signals from a second device through a reference antenna and a firstantenna group and determines a first CSI and acquires second signals from the second device through the reference antenna and a second antenna group and determines a second CSI; the first device determines a phase difference vector between the first signals and the second signals according to a vector corresponding to the reference antenna in the first CSI and a vector corresponding to the reference antenna in the second CSI, and compensates the second CSI by using the phase difference vector; and the angle of arrival of the second device is estimated according to the first CSI and the compensated second CSI. When the angle of arrival of the second device is estimated, the signals received by the reference antenna, the first antenna group and the second antenna are utilized, and therefore, the estimation precision of the angle of arrival is improved, and the number of radio frequency circuits does not need to be increased.
