Abstract

The invention provides a CBCT tooth image segmentation method based on center point detection, which includes preprocessing; rough segmentation; fine segmentation by double level set; iterative segmentation between layers; and three-dimensional structure of teeth. The tooth image segmentation algorithm based on the center point detection of the present invention makes full use of the detected center point information to perform rough segmentation of the initial layer, and uses the rough segmentation result to replace manual initialization to realize a fully automatic image segmentation under the guidance of "experts" . In this paper, the detected center point information is considered as the prior information of the segmentation algorithm, and a tooth image segmentation algorithm based on center point detection is proposed. In the segmentation process, a bilevel set segmentation algorithm and threshold optimization constraint processing are introduced, which is convenient for faster and more efficient processing.
