Abstract

The invention discloses a texture simplification and fractal compression integrated three-dimensional model visualization method, and mainly relates to the field of computer graphic processing and photogrammetry. The method comprises the following steps: 1, combining a statistical analysis method and a structure analysis method of textures, and performing primary screening on all textures by utilizing the characteristics of fractal dimensions; 2, when fractal dimensions of a plurality of textures are within a set threshold range, performing Radon transformation on the textures, calculating standard deviation of the textures, and further simplifying the textures; and 3, compressing the texture by using a fractal compression method, generating texture images with different resolutions through multiple iterations during decoding, and creating a multi-resolution texture data organization with a quadtree structure.
