Abstract

The invention discloses a composition for preventing and treating diabetic nephropathy. According to the invention, an optimal compound combination for treating diabetic nephropathy is screened from salvia miltiorrhiza bunge through a large number of experiments; wherein the molar ratio of five molecules is (salvianolic acid B: rosmarinic acid : lithospermic acid: salvianic acid A: tanshinone IIA=1: 0.07: 0.04: 0.07: 0.05) and the molar ratio of three molecules is (salvianolic acid B: rosmarinic acid : lithospermic acid =1: 1.16: 0.02) have relatively good activity in HBZY-1 and HK-2 high glucose and hydrogen peroxide damage models, kidney injury caused by diabetes mellitus can be remarkably improved, and fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, urea nitrogen, creatinine, insulin, microalbuminuria, glutamic oxalacetic transaminase and glutamic-pyruvic transaminase levels of db/db mice with spontaneous diabetes mellitus are regulated; and pathological changes of kidney tissues are improved; and a good technical effect is achieved.
