Abstract

The invention provides a sheet manufacturing apparatus capable of manufacturing a high-quality sheet. A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a transport section configured to transport a sheet madeof a material containing fiber and a control section configured to control operation of the transport section. The transport section includes a first roller and a second roller which is disposed downstream of and separately from the first roller in a transport direction of the sheet and which is rotationally driven. The control section is configured to adjust a rotation speed of the second rollerin accordance with a manufacturing condition of the sheet.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a sheet manufacturing device. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, in a sheet manufacturing apparatus, a so-called wet method in which raw materials including fibers are thrown into water, macerated mainly by mechanical action, and then converted into pulp again has been used. A sheet manufacturing apparatus of such a wet method requires a large amount of water, so that the apparatus becomes large. In addition, maintenance of the water treatment facilities takes labor and time, and the energy involved in the drying process increases. [0003] Therefore, in order to achieve miniaturization and energy saving, a dry type sheet manufacturing apparatus that uses as little water as possible has been proposed. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an apparatus for defibrating paper in a dry method under the condition of using water, and using a dry method to make the pulp length-weighted average fiber length 0.5 ...
