The invention discloses a system and method for remote monitoring through a mobile device. The system comprises the mobile device, a management terminal and a management server. The mobile equipment is used for generating an access request according to the input information, logging in the management terminal when the access request meets a preset access condition, and obtaining the operation dataof the corresponding monitored server from the management server through the management terminal; the management terminal is connected with the mobile equipment through a wide area network and is used for receiving an access request and sending the access request to the management server; the management server is used for judging whether the access request meets a preset access condition or not and obtaining operation data of the monitored server.
