Abstract

The method comprises: acquiring size parameters of a current sub-block; and determining a first quantization parameter used when the current sub-block is quantized according to the size parameter of the current sub-block. In the embodiment of the invention, the first quantization parameter is determined according to the size parameter of the current sub-block, so that the quantization effect is improved, and certain image precision is ensured while the amount of information which can be compressed in the quantization process is improved.
