According to the method disclosed in the invention, in the process of determining the visiblelight illuminance in the night mode, the influence of the infrared light contribution rate obtained based on the white balance statistical information on the visible light illuminance is considered;the influence of the color temperature value of the imaging picture in the current night mode on the visible light illuminance is further considered, so that the deviation degree between the imaging picture and the actual visible light illuminance is reduced, and the problem of repeated switching of day and night modes is effectively solved.
