The method comprises the steps that a vehicle control unit receives a key signal transmitted by a user through a key, and transmits the key signal to an air conditioner controller; the air conditioner controller responds to the received key signal and obtains a dormant state signal; when the dormant statesignal is an effective state value, the air conditioner controller obtains a current in-vehicle temperature, and the fragrance concentration of the current to-be-output fragrance is determined according to the current in-vehicle temperature; an ID in the key signal is read, and the fragrance type of the current to-be-output fragrance is determined according to the ID; and the air conditioner controller makes the vehicle-mounted fragrance system output fragrance according to the fragrance concentration and the fragrance type of the current to-be-output fragrance.
