The method comprises the steps that whether a first difference value between the preset speed and the current speed of a target train islarger than a first preset threshold value or not is judged; if the first difference value is smaller than or equal to the first preset threshold value, whether the second difference value is larger than a second preset threshold value or not is judged, wherein the second difference value is the difference value between the traction force theoretically output by the traction system of the target train and the currently output traction force; and if the second difference value is larger than a second preset threshold value, the traction system is controlled to keep the currently output tractionforce, so that the target train keeps running at a constant speed. Obviously, by means of the method, the overspeed problem of the target train in the running process can be avoided.
