Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for determining the water utilization rate of a data center. The method comprises the steps: obtaining the total amount of water used for operation of the data center and the electricity consumption of IT equipment within preset time; calculating the ratio of the total amount of water used for operating the data center to the electricity consumption of the IT equipment; and determining the water utilization rate of the data center based on site operation as the ratio. The method can reasonably evaluate the water use condition based on site operation.
