Problems solved by technology

Although the ketogenic diet has obvious effects on weight loss and improvement of fatty liver, long-term use may have adverse effects on the body
On the one hand, it is difficult for people to maintain a ketogenic diet for a long time. On the other hand, animal research results suggest that a long-term ketogenic diet may lead to obesity and damage to islet function

Embodiment 1

[0023] Thirty-five 8-week-old male C57BL / 6 mice were randomly divided into 4 groups of 5-10 mice each:

[0024] 1) Common diet group (CD): fed with common food composition;

[0025] 2) High-fat diet group (HFD): fed with high-fat food composition;

[0026] 3) Intermittent normal diet group (iCD): start with a high-fat diet, and change the diet to a normal diet every two weeks, 4 weeks as a cycle;

[0027] 4) Intermittent ketogenic diet group (iKD): started with a high-fat diet, and changed the diet to a ketogenic diet every two weeks for a cycle of 4 weeks.

[0028] Mice in each group were given the corresponding food composition for 16 weeks, see diet pattern figure 1 , the formulas of the three diets are shown in Tables 1-3, and the calorie percentages of the three macronutrients in the three diets are shown in Table 4.

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of nutrient diets, in particular to a method with a nontherapeutic purpose for obtaining body weight reduction through a discontinuous ketogenic diet. The method forobtaining body weight reduction through the discontinuous ketogenic diet adopts a high-fat food composition and a ketogenic food composition as the diet. By use of an alternant mode of a high-fat diet and a ketogenic diet, the adverse effects of the high-fat diet and the ketogenic diet can be mutually offset, mental stress caused by long-term no ingestion of carbohydrates and intermittent fastingcan be alleviated, and meanwhile, the method can fully perform the weight reduction and fatty liver elimination functions of the ketogenic diet.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of nutritional diets, in particular to a method for obtaining weight loss through intermittent ketogenic diet for non-therapeutic purposes. Background technique [0002] As modern lifestyles tend to be sedentary and less active and eating habits tend to be high in calorie intake, the obesity population is also rising year by year. Obesity is more than weight gain and is often accompanied by other metabolic diseases such as fatty liver. With the increasing obesity population, Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD), which is closely related to obesity, has gradually become the most common chronic liver disease in the world. To date, dietary and lifestyle interventions remain the most effective and safe treatments for obesity and fatty liver disease. So far, studies have shown that intermittent fasting, ketogenic diet, and Mediterranean diet all have the effect of weight loss and improvement of glucos...
