Abstract

The device for observing the three-dimensional discharge morphology of the soil around the grounding body comprises an insulating table, a metal cylinder, a grounding rod, the soil, X-ray films, and a lightning impulse generator. The metal cylinder is vertically arranged on the upper surface of the insulating table; the grounding rod vertically penetrates through the insulating table, the grounding rod is located in the metal cylinder and is coaxial with the metal cylinder, and the upper end of the grounding rod extends out of the upper end of the metal cylinder; the metal cylinder is filled with soil; the plurality of X-ray films are spaced along the axial direction of the grounding rod, are vertically sleeved on the grounding rod and are buried in soil; and the high-voltage end of the lightning impulse generator is used for being electrically connected with the upper end of the grounding rod, and the low-voltage end of the lightning impulse generator is used for being electrically connected with the metal cylinder.
