Abstract

The control method comprises the following steps of periodically obtaining the real-time operation frequency of a compressor of the air conditioner; and controlling an expansion valve to open according to the real-time operation frequencies obtained in the two adjacent periods if the difference between the real-time operation frequencies obtained in the two adjacent periods meets a preset condition set based on the change rate of the operation frequency of the compressor of the air conditioner. According to the technical scheme, the real-time operation frequency of the compressor is periodically detected, and the opening degree of the expansion valve ofthe air conditioner is compensated on the basis of the real-time operation frequency obtained in the two adjacent periods, and thus the situation that the opening degree of the expansion valve of theair conditioner fails to reach the change rate of the operation frequency of the compressor, and consequently the air conditioner malfunctions is avoided.
