The volume-variable air inlet box comprises a box body and an adjusting mechanism, wherein the adjusting mechanism is connected with the box body and comprises a first partition plate and a second partition plate, the first partition plate and the second partition plate are located in the box body and both can move between a closing position and an opening position, the first partition plate and the second partition plate located at the closing position divide the box body into a first cavity and a second cavity, and the first partition plate and the second partition plate located at the closing position can move to the opening position correspondingly to be separated to make the first cavity communicate with the second cavity. According to the volume-variable air inlet box, the volume-variable air inlet box can be suitable for different working conditions, and adjustment of the effective volume of the volume-variable air inlet box is realized by changing the positions of the first partition plate and the second partition plate, so that the air inlet requirements of the ship engine under the different working conditions are met.
