This technical result is achieved as follows. The exterior of the "Colour Ball" puzzle has the appearance of a classic football ball, and the interior contains an electrical power element, closable electrical contacts, light-emitting elements for the internal coloured backlighting of external semi-transparent surface elements, and an electronic circuit for controlling said backlighting, the puzzle being in the form of a sphere that is made up of twelve pentagonal elements and twenty hexagonal elements, wherein when pressure is applied to any pentagonal element, said element being made of a dark, non-transparent, flexible material and having closable electrical contacts disposed thereunder, the colour of the internal backlighting of all of the hexagonal elements directly adjacent thereto simultaneously cyclically changes, said hexagonal elements being made of a white, semi-transparent material.
