Abstract

The invention provides a routing attribute updating method, network equipment and a system, and belongs to the field of data communication. The first network device can automatically update the routing attribute of the BGP route based on the routing attribute carried by the action field when detecting that the routing information of the BGP route is matched with the target feature carried by the matching condition field. The first network device can automatically update the routing attribute of the BGP routing based on the routing policy contained in the message issued by the second network device, and manual configuration by operation and maintenance personnel is not needed, so that the updating efficiency of the routing attribute is effectively improved, and the operation and maintenance cost of the data communication system is reduced.
