According to the scheme, the SIP message request message is actively sent to the to-be-monitored device, the to-be-monitored device is indicated to send the SIP message response message to the external network monitoring device, universal PC software does not need to be pre-installed in the video monitoring device, whether the to-be-monitored device is illegally externally connected or not can be monitored only through the SIP request and response, meanwhile, the network environment of the video private network is prevented from being influenced by sending a large number of scanning detection packets.
