Abstract

The invention discloses a technological method for improving the mechanical performance of coral aggregate based on a pre-slurry-wrapping method. The technological method comprises the steps: with the water-binder ratio, the mixing amount of admixtures and the cementing time after slurry wrapping being considered, measuring the apparent density, the water absorption rate and the crushing index of the same batch of coral aggregates; and grouping the same batch of coral aggregates and pre-wrapping the coral aggregates by adopting wrapping slurries with different water-binder ratios, determining the apparent density, the water absorption rate and the crushing index of the coral aggregates again after the slurries and the aggregates are bonded for 7 days and 14 days, and comparing with corresponding data of the original coral aggregates so as to detect whether the pre-slurry-wrapping method improves the mechanical properties of the coral aggregates or not.
