Abstract

The invention discloses a primer pair for identifying capsicum CMV infection resistance and application of the primer pair. According to the primer pair, a forward primer is as shown in SEQ ID NO.1, and a reverse primer is as shown in SEQ ID NO.2. PCR amplification is performed on a marker by utilizing capsicum genome DNA; if a molecular marker strip of 214 bp exists, the plant is a disease-resistant plant; if a molecular marker strip of 220bp exists, the plant is a diseased plant. By utilizing the marker, an anti-CMV breeding material can be accurately and efficiently screened, offspring single plants carrying resistance genes can be efficiently and accurately screened in hybridization and backcross populations, and compared with conventional anti-CMV breeding, creation of the anti-CMV breeding material and breeding of new varieties can be remarkably accelerated.
