The method comprises the steps of adjusting a timer in a control loop according to a preset distance between an upper limit switch and a lower limit switch; controlling a ball falling pipe to move downwards by a preset distance until the lower limit switch is triggered; controlling the ball falling pipe to move upwards by a preset distance, and when the upper limit switch is triggered, determining a first moving distance of the ball falling pipe; and judging whether installation deviation exists between the upper and lower limit switches according to the first moving distance. By implementing the method, the timer is adjusted, and the limitation of the single lifting distance is relieved; the ball falling pipe is controlled to move downwards by a preset distance until the lower limit switch is triggered; and then the ball falling pipe is controlled to move upwards by a preset distance until the upper limit switch is triggered, so that the distance between the upper and lower limit switches can be determined, and whether the upper and lower limit switches have installation deviation or not is determined.
