The wastewater denitrification process comprises the following steps: culturing a synchronous nitrification and denitrification bacteria suspension under an aerobic condition, and preparing the synchronous nitrification and denitrification bacteria suspension and activated sludge into seed sludge; inoculating the seed mud into a reactor, starting the reactor, introducing the wastewater subjected to anaerobic treatment into the reactor, controlling the reactor to carry out aeration, and controlling the water temperature in the reactor; supplementing the synchronous nitrification and denitrification bacteria suspension into the reactor regularly, introducing water with preset salinity into the reactor regularly, and carrying out enhanced domestication of the synchronous nitrification and denitrification bacteria; and detecting the total nitrogen removal rate in the wastewater, and when the total nitrogen removal rate is lower than a preset removal rate, regulating and supplementing the synchronous nitrification and denitrification bacterial liquid.
