[0027] (1) Download the mRNA sequence of the flavonol synthase (FLS) gene (GenBank: EF205150), a key enzyme in the tea polyphenol synthesis pathway of tea tree, from NCBI.

Use the SSR search software to find the SSR markers in the whole genome of tea tree, and extract the SSR sequence and its upstream and downstream sequences of specific length (100bp by default). Abstract

The invention discloses a tea tree flavonol synthase gene SSR molecular marker (SSR8FLS) and a primer thereof researched and developed by an inventor through a molecular marker technology. Researches show that a method for developing the SSR primer on the whole genome of a tea tree according to specific genes is feasible, and the obtained primer is high in polymorphism and good in repeatability and has good feasibility and pertinence. Therefore, the inventor develops research on genetic polymorphism of tea tree germplasm resources. In conclusion, the research method, the SSR molecular marker and the primer thereof disclosed by the invention can be widely applied to tea tree variety identification, genetic structure and resource diversity analysis, genetic map construction, functional gene positioning and QTL positioning, hybrid seed purity identification and molecular marker-assisted seed selection research, further research on synthesis of phenolic substances of the tea tree and genetic polymorphism of the tea tree is facilitated, and deep development of tea tree resources is promoted.
