Abstract

The present invention relates to a system [100] and method [200] for availing the services in a LTE / 5G networks by the user device [110] based on a PLMN / channel combination. The user device [110] transmits an attach request to a network entity [210], where the user device [110] supports the first RAT, and uses a first combination of a first channel and a PLMN. Further, if the network entity [210] or the user device [110] does not support VoPS, the user device [110] disables the first combination and selects a second combination comprising a new channel supporting the same PLMN. Thus, the user device [110] avails the services in the network by supporting said second combination using first RAT.
