Abstract

The invention discloses an iron-based alloy for a corrosion-resistant coating and application of the iron-based alloy. The iron-based alloy comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 33.0%-40.0% of Cr, 0.5%-8.0% of Mo, 1.0%-8.0% of Si, 0.1%-5.0% of Al and the balance Fe. The iron-based alloy for the corrosion-resistant coating can form a protective coating which has enough corrosion resistance and enough adhesion to a matrix. Coating may be conducted with existing processes such as laser cladding, plasma surfacing PTA, HVOF, HVAF and plasma spraying.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of corrosion-resistant iron-based alloys, in particular to a corrosion-resistant iron-based alloy used in a surface coating process and its application. Background technique [0002] Iron-based alloys need to have high corrosion resistance in certain specific environmental conditions, such as parts resistant to high temperature, atmosphere, water vapor, water and oxidative acid corrosion. In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the workpiece surface, surface coating processes, such as laser cladding, plasma transferred arc surfacing, thermal spraying, etc., are usually used to coat the workpiece surface with corrosion-resistant materials. Martensitic stainless steels, such as alloy 431, are often used as coating materials. However, the existing materials cannot meet the corrosion resistance requirements in special environments, especially in high temperature (≥1000°C), sulfur-containing and other harsh enviro...
